Who said I actually did any role playing?

RP-PvP server. I'm in BG's most of the time if I'm not leveling.

Why don't you go on a PVP server, then? You play with RP'ers, ew.

And normal people look down on people who play WoW.

Pretty much.

Though I'm just playing for research so I can design a better MMO, even if its just a thought exercise.

Lvl 70 Tauren warrior and the odd other thing like a lvl 20 mage etc. Might buy the other expansion and go for 80, spent 4 days of my holidays in easter doing 60 - 70. Might start a new guy on your server just to bug you and try playing without access to piles of gold and shit.

It was boring for me too untill I got out of the starting area. Once you start getting more kinds of attacks and can mix everything up a bit, there gets to be more strategy involved in attacking your enemies.

For example, there's this cave system on Teldrassil called Ban'ethel Barrow Den. I had to go through this cave system looking for four of these quest items, but I kept getting killed by the enemies it was filled with, Gnarlpines. I could kill one of them by itself with some difficulty, but when I got them to low health, they'd try to run away and get other Gnarlpines, and eventually I'd have 3 of them attacking me at once, and I got ****ing raped. I got this attack that makes your targets move slower, but that didn't help much. The problem was that once they got out of reach, they were usually pretty close to another Gnarlpine and so they didn't have to run far to get others to help them.

The solution was this: After I leveled up a bit more (From level 8 to level 10) and learned to use bows, then I used this strategy:

First, I see a gnarlpine, and I lure it away from the other gnarlpines by hitting it with as many arrows as I can before it gets too close (Usually 2)

Then I hit it with a rend attack (Which makes it bleed for a while, causing its health to drop over time), few thunderclap attacks, and a move to make it run slower. If it tries to run away, I just hit it with an arrow or two and it drops like a fly.

The fun of WoW, for me at least, is killing enemies with higher levels than you by using strategy. Now I with I had chosen a more versatile class than Warrior, like Paladins. But whatever.

Get to level 14-19, join a Warson Gulch battle ground match. Then say that again.

EDIT:By the way, level 7 is pretty pathetic. Choose a different class then warrior if you get bored of just hitting things with the same attack for 16 levels. Say a shaman or mage.

Don't just sit there for 30 minutes, kill a few things, do 3-4 quests then say "Oh **** this I'm not level 23948203 yet so it's automatically boring and just for no life nerds".

Like he says. Most of the time you spend in your classes starting area will just be learning to do everything, anyway.

i think i was a druid, or whatever that one is that you can eventually turn into animals with

i cant get past level 10 in a trial version, but i see what ash is saying with the higher level monsters, but still i just dont have the patience, id rather play something where its full on all the time

but it was very fun for a period of time that i had a friend to play with, but after that my patience just wore thin

Alot of people in my school think WoW sucks, but that is just because they have the a brain the size of a t-rex and the attention span of a 4 year old child in a toy store. It really is a great game if you take the patience to learn what class is for you, try and actually connect with the story of Azeroth, Outlands, and Northrend through the quests that they give you, and end-game raiding is fun as hell imo.

Lol, I think he means ''a brain the size of a trex's'', which is about the size of an acorn.
