Quote from AshIt's not a sad face, it's a "dropped jaw" face.
The story is about the toys being dropped off at a daycare because Andy is going to college, and the Buzz Lightyear line of toys is recalled.
Wrong
The old storyline when Disney and Pixar split ways was Disney trying to cash in on another Toy Story, and the story for that was that all the Buzz toys were recalled
That movie was being created many years ago, but obviously it never got made
This new one is made by the guys that actually made the original, and the storyline is the toys being dropped at a daycare.
The two are different storylines, not happening in the same movie, and in all honesty, the first one actually sounded better.

Ah, okay, then.
Well it will still be good, probably. I'll see it in theatres.

Knowing pixar it will probably have some undertone of suicide and massive depression that the kids wont pick up on.

still a full year before the release of Toy Story 3 - but the animation work has started for two months already with its animators shaving their heads for a workplace challenge of who will go the longest without a haircut.

I seriously wonder how this will pan out
I mean, in the first two, it revolved around only a few toys going on some adventure (Toy Story, Woody and Buzz, Toy Story 2, Woody, Buzz, Slinky, Mr. Potato Head, and Hammy)
But this one is about ALL the toys going to the same place. Really interested to know how they'll balance it all out and if the movie will be focused on the group the whole time, or if they will actually get split up somehow.
Though I'm sure most of the minor toys will get sent to other daycares or something.

They probably will get split up at som point. There's no way the writers would make the entire plot revolve around nothing but the fact that they're at a daycare. Pixar's plots are never completely simplistic.

cars was simplistic.
but then again cars was one of the worst movies ever

Nemo was great because it told two different stories that were still related
Though it would transition from one to the other when you least wanted it to, but then again thats how its suppose to be
Walle... was just godlike.
