Lear how to draw a perfect stick

Ok guys, this tutorial is made for people that can't a good stick figure done.
Basically its all with 45 smoothing and with Flash 8. And mouse (I use mouse, no tablet).

How to start:
I usually start out with the head, in animation, it helps with easing. Then draw the body, please don't make it a straight line. Then the arms, don't make them curvy! And finally the legs, for noobs its probably the most hardest part of a stick. Make the leg parts a little bit straight, not curvy.
Keep practicing these simple steps.

Styles:

Those are some styles of a stick figure. We will be using the first one.
(in my opinion, that's the easiest)

2-D angles:

What are 2-D angles?
They are angles that are in a 2-D phase.

Example:
Image

The 2-D angles are sticks that have some of the body parts a little smaller than the others. For example, the second stick on the image above, has the right leg is smaller than the left. Which means that its facing backwards (backwards in 3-D).

Different angles:

Keep on practicing some more of these angles!

Try out some cool positions, and you may get your drawing skills better.

Well, thats it for now.

Not sure if this is that necessary since, well, if you don't know how to draw a stick figure then you're probably retarded.

Uhm, you mean 3D perspective in 2D? Not many stick animations out there that don't use 2D :0

To be honest, I agree with Gavel, this isn't completely necessary besides maybe the 3D part, but it also might discourage others from creating their own style. (if by some miracle some newbie looked at the tutorials before beginning their first) I know my style got messed up after watching one too many Cosmoseth videos.

Btw, there are several typos in there, including the first sentence, and the sentence in your second image.

but is there really such thing as a good stick? i mean, they are just stick figures. with something so basic, the creative possibilities are endless. just like how some people think thick stick figures are best, some will contest such an opinion

This is the equivalent of having a "How to use a seatbelt" lesson during driving lessons.

The simple fact - if you can't do it, YOU SHOULDN'T BE THERE.
