Ive been doing a little thinking lately..

i see the report button there, but i havent used it for the best part of a year (i last used it when my post count was 18)

so, does anybody actually use this button?

Yes, people do use it.

It's the best way for a member to mark a post/member for a moderator.

I use it for threads outside main and off-topic which I know that some moderators won't have visited.

lol, i remember the PM war i had with mantha when i discovered the report button, ahh, good times

I use it for wrong section posts and spam, sometimes flaming, but not in all situations.

I must've used it a dozen times or so in the last month for spammers, adbots, one flamer, and one troll.

I use it on adbots and trolls, usually.

There's a spammer though. One thread down from this at the moment. I reported that one, although someone might have beaten me too it.
