Hey all. I recently started flash, and I'm... okay, I suppose, with it.

I'm working on an animation at the moment, it's looking good, but I need to learn how to animate running. I've searched around the forum and on Newgrounds, but I've found little to no help.

It's not so much a run that I'm looking for, as it is a full-blown sprint.
If anyone has any tutorials for it (Pivot, Flash, Easytoon, all work, I just need to learn the motions) please post them.

Thanks!

Not quite what I'm looking for, but in the past couple of hours of searching, I haven't found jack shit, so this is definitely an improvement.

Thanks for the link, I'll see if I can't get it to work.

You're not helping, at all. It's great to look up a tutorial on YouTube, but saying shit like "Delete this thread" Is everything but cool. If you know there is a running tutorial at YouTube, just get it and link it here, that's not too hard is it.

No, YouTube is a great place for tutorials, you probably haven't found any good ones yet seeing your opinion about it. I was also thinking about Jousteh's tutorial but there are better ones, for example terkoiz's.

I actually did manage to find a decent one on Youtube, wasn't half bad, but a lot of the results were stuff like "Stick Figures on Crack" and crap like that.

So I suppose it's good and bad.

Thanks for the link, Lixu! Great tut!

Thanks for all the tuts! I'll try out more of 'em later, but I managed to make this from the Stonesbucket one:

Hey, that's pretty good. Starting with fullbody is a brave move, but that looks decent. The foot extends unrealistically a frame before hitting the ground in one of the steps, and you can tell the loop easily.

I suggest temporarily pasting the first frame at the end of your animation, then using onion skin to edit the frame before so that it loops more smoothly.

Welll to be fair I start with stickmen, then trace a bubble boy overtop of it then go to full body, but thanks.

And that's a damn good idea. I'll give that a shot, thanks!

Edit: Fixed, I think.

and just for kicks, something I made up using the same method on a different tut a couple days ago:
