Apparently its already been shown at some film festival or something. I havent seen it yet, but when they show it in theatres Im definately going.
Edit: Well I decided to watch it through an online stream, and I thought it was very good. You could really get into the movie, very immersive, despite some unrealistic parts.
However all the viewers on the website thought it was absolute shit, just because it was unrealistic, they thought *SPOILERS* that just because some taxi driver suspiciously drove right up to the EOD guy very suicidal-like, yet did not blow up, was very unrealistic and stupid just because nothing "cool" happened.*END SPOILERS* The ****ing idiots think its always explosions and battles 24/7 over there in Iraq.
As I said before this movie was great, it really shows you how depressing and messed up things are over there and give meanings to why you hear about US soldiers throwing puppies over cliffs or why Gunships "apparently" are stupid and wreckless because they shoot "perfectly good Iraqi citizens who wouldnt harm a fly". Before I used to think the soldiers were ****ing mental and retarded when they did that stuff, but it all really makes sense now.

This looks ****ing incredible. The main character is played by an actor who played a druggie rock star in an episode of house.
I'm going to see this as soon as it comes out.

Please heed my warning
You will get emotionally embedded into this movie.
Also, the actor playing the protagonist, is extremely awesome
He played as the badass sniper from Saving Private Ryan and the just-as-badass sniper from 28 weeks later. I've also recognized him him from many other movies and TV shows
He is awesome.

He wasn't in Saving Private Ryan. You're thinking of the guy who played Bill on the Bill and Ted movies.

He was the "bad guy" in SWAT.
Anyway, just finished this one. Great movie. I was very impressed. It had some good action. It pulls at the heart strings, and it does some very cool shots. That's the first time I've seen well executed high fps shots.
Didn't like the ending, personally. I thought it would've been more fitting if he just stayed home. It didn't ruin it for me though.

If you remembered the very beginning it might have fit a little better for you.
I mean like the first seconds of the movie, it says "War is a drug"

However, this movie had a good mix of everything. The only problem is that there was little character progression for the main character. The guy you follow around the entire time doesn't really change by the end. You have all of these events that happen in his life that are so important. He can't even stop talking about them when he's home. I just thought it would be better if at the end he finally ....evolves a little bit. Maybe have the idea that he misses it, but he accepts that he will never go back because it was horrible in retrospect. Wife and kid? Baby steps? The conversation with the black guy about Iraq?
Still, it works. It didn't ruin it for me.
