Jeff Goldblum's dead, too.

Which was a rumor that is now squashed, I think. Much like it would under the foot of a t-rex.

haha. Personally for me, I am very happy to see him go.

Well thats your opinion but how can you deny his accomplishments in the music industry?

Whats this then? You just find him being the most influential musician in american history to be insignificant?

See, now that is definitely not something I would say.

And you seem to be misinterpreting my quote. What I meant by it, was that Michael Jackson has not really done that much, at least in my mind, to offset what he *allegedly* did to those kids. His music is awesome, but being a good entertainer and "all that he's done" does not in the slightest offset the terrible things he's done. What I meant to say was that he didn't cure cancer or save lives, he made music, which really isn't all that much.

Oh ok I get it now.

I see it as honoring the death of an american icon, not the death of a pedophile. I was brought up to honor someone's life with what they've done that was good, because dwelling on negatives helps no one.

Neither does dwelling on positives really, as the person is dead. But now I am just being cynical.

I will say this. Michael Jackson the entertainer was someone I have immense respect for. His influence on MTV and the rise of the music video is unmatched. He made great songs that are still popular today. But Michael Jackson the person is someone I would never want to be around for any length of time. He was scary, unpredictable, and clearly mentally disturbed. His life is clearly a tale of two very polarizing halves. And his death goes down the same way: bittersweet. Perhaps for me he leaves a more bitter memory, and for you a more sweet one.

Oh come on. Having an argument about someone when he's dead.
That's not cool.

So beat it.

I know, it wasn't funny.

you know it's never been proven that he actually molested that kid.

and Jay Leno testified for him cause the same family lied about him about stealing a wallet or something. they were probably just a bunch of con-artists.
