Calm down, he was still a pretty good musician.

Great song.

I'm being completely honest about my feelings towards Michael this whole time:

Someone: "So, you hear Michael Jackson is dead?"

Me: "Yeah, and frankly, I couldn't be happier"

Someone: "What, why, he was amazing!"

Me: "He was a good musician, I'll give him that much, but you did notice that for the past 15 years the only things you ever heard about him doing were crazy and ****ed up?

Someone: "Yeah, so?"

Me: "So now the media will go crazy about him for a few months, and after that, silence. No more Wacko Jacko stories on the magazines in line at Wal-Mart for the rest of eternity. Yay."

Someone Else: "Hay evrehwuhn, i huhrd MJ is still alive and livuhn in a cabuhn in Wisconson, singuhn songs with Elvis!"

Me: "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

The reason his death has been so sensationalized, is because this is not the death of a person. It's the death of the youth of a generation. An entire generation of people looked up to this guy throughout their childhood and their entire lives. With his death, all these people have to realize "wow, I'm old."

This is basically the same thing that happened with Elvis.

Shit, I didn't see you posted this here. I embedded it in the Michael Jackson thread in Main. Oh well.

I'm subscribed to Jon Lajoie pretty much for songs like this one. Love it.

Check out the 2 Girls 1 Cup song he made.

The artist was phenominal, but the person was messed up due to years of abuse and torment.

'From a young age Jackson claims he was physically and emotionally abused by his father, enduring incessant rehearsals, whippings and name-calling, but also contends that his father was a strict disciplinarian that played a large part in his success. [8][9] In one altercation—later recalled by Marlon Jackson—Joseph held Michael upside down by one leg and "pummeled him over and over again with his hand, hitting him on his back and buttocks".[10] Joseph would also trip up, or push his male children into walls. One night while Jackson was asleep, Joseph climbed into his room through the bedroom window. Wearing a fright mask, he entered the room screaming and shouting. Joseph said he wanted to teach his children not to leave the window open when they went to sleep. For years afterwards, Jackson suffered nightmares about being kidnapped from his bedroom.[10]

Jackson first spoke openly about his childhood abuse in a 1993 interview with Oprah Winfrey. He said that during his childhood he often cried from loneliness and would sometimes get sick or start to vomit upon seeing his father.[11][12][13][14] In Jackson's other high profile interview, Living with Michael Jackson (2003), the singer covered his face with his hand and began crying when talking about his childhood abuse.[10] Jackson recalled that Joseph sat in a chair with a belt in his hand as he and his siblings rehearsed and that "if you didn't do it the right way, he would tear you up, really get you".[15]'
