yes, but you have to give credit to the place they came from, example: lightning effects and sword from droidz.
and in general you shouldnt use effects you didnt make because most of them take almost no skill to use, all the hard work is in creating them. especially that smoke effect, all you have to do is put in a different .stk every frame. and about the naruto and sasuke stks, you really didnt need to use them. they have been used so many times that by now everyone knows they are from droidz. i know you had the shadow clone thing and all that in there, but you could have just made a normal stick that you made yourself do that and say he had magic powers or something :)
the anim would actually be better if you did that because those stks are so overused. about the second one, it was much better animated but you really didnt need to use those stks. only use stks from droidz if there is something really specific and complicated you need that you couldnt make yourself, like a robotic chinchilla with glowing horns. for example. you shouldnt use really complicated, unoriginal stks in basic anims like your 2nd one where a basic stk would have worked just as well.
