here's a little exercise I did, everything is animated by hand except for the blocks falling at the end, those are reactor.

That was awesome man.. it was very nicely animated , sept the part where he hit the ground wus kinda odd.

yeah, i kinda rushed the last falling part, i was going crazy :D
wanted to use ragdoll but i couldnt find a way to keep the mesh any good for ragdoll use.

I loved it. Everything was perfect, also I think you should post your 3D anims in the flash section, just because you'll get more comments. Also, people won't mind.

some people might mind, but i don't think anyone would make a big shit about it, it wouldn't really be a bad idea for a site to have an "other animations" forum, but it might be a very unpopular section.


the animation is very nice, it all looks good till he hits the ground, that part seemed kinda off. is their any sort of tweening involved in 3d animation?(just wondering for future reference?)

3d is almost the same as pivot, but with another dimension. you set a keyframe for a pose, move the time slider forth some keyframes , and set another pose, 3ds max then tweens between the movements, you can adjust the easing with the animation graphs.

just a bones rig with some helpers here and there.
