I completely agree with Gavel, reading Ash's posts made me wince. It's like he's living in some ignorant stage between being smart enough to figure out we're just playing a prank and not being smart enough to keep it to himself to watch the shitstorm as it's unfolding. It really doesn't impress any of us when you guys flaunt that it's obviously a joke. If that's what you think then just sit back and enjoy it with us instead of trying to put out the fire with your infinite wisdom.

As far as any members that might have left because of this, they're obviously going to come back once or twice just to see if things stayed the same. If they truly got butthurt enough to want to quit over a prank, then good riddance.

And Exilement, I know you guys "know how" to do it. I was only suggesting a way to slightly improve the methodology. If someone like Ash bothers you guys so much by "ruining" it, I was pretty much suggesting that people like him (the potential "ruiners") should be in on it so maximum fun can be had.

Naw, Ash wouldn't go for it. He'd want the ability to deduce with his unfathomable knowledge that it's a joke so he can point it out to everyone.

I would have refrained from spoiling it. In fact, I could have even acted like I was pissed off if I had been asked to.

Unless I heard that from him, I wouldn't believe it. Plus, if it's true, well then I guess the only way to do it is to find some post that almost breaks the rules and ban him for it while the prank is happening.

Or, just moderate his posts out of circulation as they occur, hahaha.
