This is my attempt at an energy beam attack, tips and help plz. Criticism i can take as well.

yeah.. umm don't use preset gradients. Instead try making the black ends on the sides the same colour as the green in the middle then put the opacity to 0%. That'd probably look better

The beam was to big, and it had no apparent spot that showed it come out of his hands, it looked like it randomly appeared. Try drawing a beam instead of a box, with color. And keep it a little smaller, and make sure it comes out of his hands so you can tell its actually his.

Don't use the gradient with brush, it makes it look like your first animation in Flash.

You made the beam kind of squared, kinda weird, but it's too small.

Keep practicing man.

Ummm... don't use gradients (said like 3 times so I hope you get the idea)

Try doing a frame by frame beam.

And... the beam was way to F*cking big...

I didn't like to much the effect of the beam, you have to improve in that, but the stick movment was prety good, do you do it in flash or pivot ?
