Hi my name is Velosareon. I have read countless tutorials on pivot, flash, and the one thats easy something, and have watched videos about them. I wanna pivot but I am currently in Russia and am not aloud to download pivot here, so I had used the Stick animator that is provided on stickpage. I have a short animation on it if and if anyone wants to try to watch it:

It is allowed but this isn't my comp, it's my cousin's.

Of course, I know. When I get back to California in like a week I will download pivot and work on it since it is simple for begginers. I hope to become half decent within a few months. BTW my avatar is a pic from my first animation and BTW that's not finished, I'm working on that right now.

Good luck with the animating. You'll find that a lot of your animations have no story line at first. And at middle. And quite probably at last too, but it's not impossible to get there. The more important thing is to enjoy it.

I just posted my first animation on the first post. Watch it but don't rate harshly, i know it's bad at the end and it's stiff and bad :P just enjoy it:)
Note: I cannot believe that the flip looked like a flip and not like a flopped dead fish. I am sorta proud of this animation since it is my first one :)

use easytoon instead of pivot

Ok, i have dicided to download both Easytoon for drawing needs in animation and pivot for simplicity and fun. If i get good, i will use Easytoon to turn in to Stickpage Portal since pivot isn't allowed there. But that's if i get decently good at Easytoon.

You need flash for submitting to the frontpage, even then, you need to be pretty damn good to get it on there.

Well, i ain't gonna try for the front page until like a year! I just wanna see if by 3 or 4 months if my work is worthy enough to be acceptted to the Stickpage Portal.

u...hi if you wanna use pivot here's what to do...
if you wanna make an animation just make some movement with the stick man and press next frame remember the stuff you do in one frame is not recorded only the one movement the stick makes.make a hole bunch of movements and press play. if your not satisfied click on file and press new.

Stickmad, pivot is fine. Just some people think it's a shit programme. In all fairness, they're right, but for those of us who enjoy it anyway there is a pivot section down there.

That's a lie. If you've seen half of the stuff in the portal it's terrible. Most of it is made by people too lazy to get their stuff cc'd in the forums.
