MULTIPLE PERSON JOINT

Description

A couple of us from the pivot section decided we would like to make a joint. So here we are. We are willing to accept join requests, and you will be required to show post an example of your animation. If I think you are good enough, then you will be accepted.

Rules

This will be a "pass it on" joint, meaning that there will be a set list of animators, who, one after the other, will animate their part.

It will be in Pivot 2.2.5 format, I usually use 3.0, but for convinience, we will use 2.2.5.

Animation can be about anything, with one condition, it must continue on from the last.

Animation size will be the default size of 506 x 415. *Pending*

Fps 20 (refer to F.A.Q, if you dont know how to set the animation replay speed to 20 Fps.

Animations must be uploaded in .piv form, It is recommended that you use www.rapidshare.com

Animations must be 50 + frames in length. If i must, I will make acceptions.

Your name must be displayed in the top right/left corner of your animation.

You will have 3 days, from the day you recieve the .piv to finish your animation. I can make acceptions. If you fail to submit within the 3 day time limit, you will be skipped, and moved up the list.

After uploading your entry in .piv format, send me the link via private message, I will then pass it on to the next person.

F.A.Q

* Any questions people ask will be added
here and answered.

Q: I'm going to be on holidays this week, and wont be able to complete my animation, what should I do?
A: I can move you down the list, to a time that better suits you.

Q: Why pivot 2.2.5? Why not 3.0?
A: Because more people use 2.2.5, and it will prevent more issues. If your base is Pivot 3.0, then It can be easily converted to 2.2.5. Just recreate it with all the same lengths and thicknesses as your 3.0 .stk.

Q: I want to join, but I dont know if I am good enough?
A: Post an example animation, aslong as your not completely useless at animation, you will be accepted.

Q: Why did my animation get denied?
A: Either it broke one of the above rules, or was not to your animation standards. I expect that everyone tries, no slacking off.

Q: The Fps slider doesn't display the Fps, how do I know when I am on 20 Fps?
A: The maximum Fps in Pivot 2.2.5 is 33. So you need to bring the slider up to the top, then keep clicking the down arrow. Everytime the slider moves it brings the Fps down 1. Keep dragging down until 20. Eg. 33,22,31,30,29... ect. The slider doesnt move everytime you click the down arrow, so dont count down until it does.

That's a good lookin' thread you got there. All seems good, but roughly how high up the bar is 20fps?

The maximum Fps in Pivot 2.2.5 is 33. So you need to bring the slider up to the top, then keep clicking down. Everytime the slider moves it = 1 frame less. Keep dragging down until 20. Eg. 33,22,31,30,29... ect. The slider doesnt move everytime you click the down arrow, so dont count down until it does.

It's not too much effort to download Piv3. I just have to remeber never ever to use it ever again afterwards :)

Invisitext because it's off topic: cc my newest animation! It's been in three places for about twelve hours and I've got nothing from it.

Well, if the Fps becomes that much of a hindorance, then we will change to 3.0, but for now, stay with 2.2.5. People will complain with 3.0.

Also, Ill probly start my entry tonight. Finally, a break from backgrounds :3
