Ok i can see this kinda being a debate topic. I kinda was wondering which version of pivot was the best, and instead of asking, i put it in here to debate i guess. hope its debetable o.0. What pivot is better? 2.2.5 or 3 beta?

They all suck.

i saw that coming :3
and pivot 3 is better i think, also this looks like it should be a poll

I can't say for certain as I have only used version 2.2.5, but from what I've heard piv 3 crashes more and doesn't really have any improved features on 2.

Pivot 2
My opinion.

pivot 3 cause it starts with a better stick and you can add BGs and sprites IMO

lmao this is no debate

I think this thread needs a poll.

However, i just used pivot 3, so i can't say anything.
But it never crashed on my PC.

Pivot is for fags. There's no noobspeak needed there.

its a nice starter for easytoon or flash though, pivot animators need background knowledge for any other animation program

Or they could animate with flash, which you can drag and drop on it, too.

I don't know why everyone says this. How is dragging each and every limb on each and every frame easier than just drawing the character in the position you want it on each frame. Especially when it's a stick figure. Pivot is like a half-assed version of stopmotion.

You didn't have to murder that poll :/
Anyway, animating is really tricky. It can be really difficult to dive right into straight away. Not only do you need to draw each frame, but there's actually a lot of skill required to make the "motion" of animation. It's pretty tricky to learn how to create the illusion of motion by using frames. Pivot is good for practicing that without investing a lot of time into drawing.

I didn't murder it. They were asking for a poll so I filled it in.
In hindsight, I don't even know if there's a pivot 1. I assume there is, but everyone always talks about 2, 3, and that beta one that's like a hybrid of 2 and 3
