We know at least one set of conditions that can harbor life. And we know it has happened at least once; we're here, aren't we? So it's already statistically impossible for no life to have formed, otherwise we wouldn't be here to figure that out.

So. Barring some off-the-wall bizarre alien life forms based entirely on the element Aluminum (or any other humorous random non-synthetic element), we know that it is entirely possible for life to happen.

There has to be "aliens" out there somewhere. Sentient? Maybe. We are, right? Advanced? Depends on how you define advanced, but yes, possibly. All depends on when they seeded.

All that's needed is the right conditions. We know it happened once... the question is how common is it? I'm betting it's maybe a few hundred examples in a galaxy the size of ours, less in smaller ones. And I'd wager at least one is "advanced". Though why they'd have any interest in a backwater place like Earth, aside from, y'know, another sentient life form, I couldn't tell you.

Well, I think neither UFOs nor aliens really exist, or maybe, they're not what we imagine to be (GROSS!)

Also, what are you basing those figures off? Why do you think that earthlike planets occur that frequently? I'm not saying they necessarily don't, but I'm curious.

actually, right now the universe is continually expanding. there will come a single moment, where either the amont of matter in the universe is larger enough to sustain this growth, in which case it keeps going, or thereisn't enough matter and we instantly implode. nice. (this is scientific fact)

now, if we imlode, fine, but we are just going to explode again, which may cause more ife anywayy. if we just keep expanging, the suns keep coughing up matter nd the universe goes on for infintiy. if this is the case, then there MUST be life somewhere at some point in time (there is less than a 0.1 chance of implsion by the way) now, time goes on infinetly, so there are a infinite number of galixies and planets throughout time, yes? (galaxies can be created and destroyed) in these infinite number of galaxies, if one of them supports life, then this one planet is a fraction of infinity and a fraction of infinity is infinity. so, throughout time, there is an infinite number of planets that support life. so, there must be life out there, be it in the futtue, or more likley now.

Excuse me for disagreeing with your "scientific fact", but I do. If I had two balls in a vacuum there is no reason that I couldn't keep pulling them apart indefinitely. Can I see this sourced please?

I don't really believe that aliens have visited earth, nor do i believe they have abducted people. I believe aliens exist, as this is a big universe, and chances are that we arent the only ones there. I would hope that not many nearby aliens can go to space, as i dont like the idea of war mongering aliens happening by our planet and enslaving us..

I think that there may be aliens but they hav'nt visited earth

if we are the best this universe can do, than this is one sad universe. aliens probably visited us, but didn't PROBE us, they probably studied us. i mean, if we had the chance, we would study alien lifeforms, so there is at least 1 other species out there, case closed.
