Nah nah man. When you get your new one take apart the old one and look for a rubber sheet thing and try to save the wiring on it. just wacth the cord when taking it apart, tiny paper thin wires and shit come from it and go across the rubber sheet, save that, dispose of all the plastic, tape down the cord to the rubber sheet and...

just connect led lights an a motion detector on the end of every letter and project it to your desk.

I need to feel the keys. Having a keyboard like that would suck. Especially since I've gotten so fast and good at typing that I find myself not even looking at the keyboard and I'm still able to type fine.
Last test I did was around 60-65wpm with one error.
