Backstory:
I took a math placement test for college. guessed on most of them and got a 92%. They placed me in Math 104 or higher. I thought I'd go with Math 104 because it's already THREE above the 101 which I thought would be a good college math course. I thought I was in for the hardest shithole of a class I have ever encountered. College math placed in by a test I got lucky on. Oh boy.
Turns out it's ****ing 3rd grade math.
Yes, I walked in with my $137 textbook expecting a good math education. The teacher is leniant, he doesn't give two shits what we do, the homework has flexible due dates, very good. I had thought this would all be a cushion for the intense math we'll be doing. Then I skimmed through all of the chapters the syllabus said we'd do this class.
Chapter 1: Estimation
Chapter 9: The Metric system
Chapter 12: Statistics
Chapter 11: Finance.
More that i can't remember.
I thought it was easier than it looked. So I looked at the review questions that the syllabus included. I won't go into details but really my little sister can do my ****ing homework for me.
I'm insulted.
Discuss any bullshit easy classes you've had.
Easy as a good stream of diarrhea

Law Statistics. Studied for the exam in one day including the fact I fell asleep by the book. I scored 9/10.

I would sort of think the $137 book would be worth it if I learned something. The book alone is $80 but the database including the REQUIRED OPTION for the course to be able to do homework online optionally costs another $57. Argh!
I am lucky that I got such a class but I thought college would be 10x harder than this!
@Scarecrow: Indeed.

I thought sociology would be a lot harder than it is. All it seems to me is it's common sense: "why don't people want to sit next to other at a waiting room in the Doctors? The sociological response is that they do not know the person, the person could be anyone and have any disease or have done anything" - what we were taught last lesson. No shit sherlock.

Well.
All my classes are hard. So there's not much I can say about my luck.
But I got to be outside class for 15 minutes once for making noise.
That's cool, right?

You mean you were disrupting the class and the teacher sent you out?

Making noise.
Yes.
Yes.

I've taken two courses where the grade is 100% based on homework. I never went to class. Yes, I got an A in both.

That's the kind of class I'd love to have.

Yes.
The reason I asked is because that has nut-sucking nothing to do with the ease of the course.

The class is filled with ****ing retards and stoners, except for about two people.

I remember German 1. Stoners galore indeed but only a few retards. about 1/5 the class was serious about learning a new language.

I am in Spanish III because at my new school I am required to take three years of a foreign language instead of two, and since my former teacher was so awful I thought I was going to be way behind and have to catch up.
But I should have realized something, once you make a class required you get all of the people who don't give a damn in it. The people in my class can't even string a sentence together in spanish and I was worried about being in the class.
Now I am upset because I will not be learning anythign.
Except la lengua de amor
