I went outside for a moment tonight, looked out west, and I saw a large crecent, like the moon, but it was an orange-ish red color and in the western, rather than eastern sky. Anyone know what this might have been? I'm baffled.

Oh, and it's not a ****ing UFO if any morons here think that it is.

No, it was way too large. I'm considering it may have been actually on the side of a particular house down the street, because after it disappeared I realized that there is a house near there.

The moon looks red naturally from time to time. Something to do with dust in the atmosphere. I think it might be seen less in different parts of the world so you may not have noticed before. As for its position, I understand this moon thing is in something called "orbit" ;)
