As unlikely as it may seem, I'm pretty that's a different Mikhail Cirkunov. I think the one that you're referring to trains at Xtreme Couture.
edit: wait nevermind I just re-read the article and it might actually be the same person. That's pretty damn impressive, placing first in the ADCC trials is a pretty big deal.

Well I originally just read the first half of the article and it talked about him wrestling. The second half of the article that I went back and read later talks about him also training and competing in Judo and Brazillian Jiu-jitsu.
So yeah it looks like it's the same person, and it's weird because I've actually heard of him before. He's competed against some pretty high-level grapplers.
