You've been tasked by a greater being to amass a team of 3 REAL people to take on tasks of extreme physical endurance, infinitely complex mental puzzles and other maximum power obstacles or scenarios. You can pick any 3 people in the world, the only rule is that they have to be real, but you can pick them from any time in history.

My 3:

Bear Grylls

Image

A famous British guy, known for his immense knowledge of how to survive extreme conditions in any terrain (im sure some other countries may have seen the program he did with Will Ferrel). He's ex S.A.S, and actually trains new recruits for the S.A.S, so you know he's as tough as they come.

Derren Brown

Image

A master of mathematics, deception and showmanship, he's the perfect candidate for the mind side of things in the 3 man team. Recently known for predicting the lottery numbers on live tv, and making a large percentage of viewers in his last show literally stick to their seat with a mind controlling video. (yes people, this is a real person)

Nikolay Valuev

Image

A whopping 7 ft 2 in (2.18 m) monster, and if thats not enough he's also a proffesional heavyweight boxer. As tough as bear grylls is, there's probably a lot of stuff he can't handle on his own. That's where this monster comes in, if the mere sight of this man is not enough to chill a man to his boots then his fists certainly can. He has a reach of 85 inches.

I assume I'm in there already so I don't have to point out how fantastic I am at everything from knitting to drilling for oil with my tongue.

Stephan Fry

Image

Because he's a genius who knows everything there is to know about everything. He hosts celebrity quiz show, QI, known for having lots of trick questions and which frequently finishes with guests having negative scores for giving blindingly obvious answers that were wrong.

Bill Bailey

Image

Because he's good for team morale and a musical genius which is bound to translate into some sort of skill, and once the other two have everything handled he'd just be a great guy to have around.

Name unknown

If I can choose anyone from history to do the manual labour it's got to be the Viking in Harold Hadrada's army who held Stamford bridge against the entire Saxon army until someone swam under the bridge and shoved a spear up his arse. Anyone who can kill forty people with only an axe and no armour on deserves to be in the three most awesome people of all time list, whether his name was known or not.

You all say you want Bear Grylls but he was outed as a fake and imposter when he did survival shows.

If you want a real outdoors man, you go for Ray Mears, also an outdoor expert, on par if not more intelligent than Bear Grylls plus has 30 or so years of Judo under his belt.

RAY MEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARS

I don't want to choose other people, I was just throwing my opinions out there.

The man on the right.

People who actually to the gold and back home in the gold rush of 1861, obviously had huge survival skills. They had to do everything from surviving in forests, climbing over small mountains, fixing injuries, and building their own canoes to make it through rivers.

Albert Einstien. Enough said.

This is the only picture I can find that isn't some scrawny guy in a spartan outfit.
But enough said for this, too. Spartans were trained all their life to be physically strong, and exceptional at fighting.

Aristoteles

That's the first time I've ever seen someone refer to Aristotle by his pure Greek name. It's so surprising that I was going to make fun of you for an error by asking if that was a combination of Aristotle and Hercules. Instead, I checked Wikipedia and wouldn't you know it, there was the Greek. Now I don't know if you actually were writing his Greek name or if you did make an error, but I figured I'd detail my thought process here.
