So, by your logic these 2 animations deserve the same rank?

Yes, beginner is beginner.

And noob-bitch, stop the ego-trip, you're not cool, your sig isn't either.

The difference is you put less effort into the worse one, but both are almost the same quality.

I saw the easing in the split kick, but most of them were still very stiff.

This is why ranks are silly.

okay then, all you fags can stop crying that i made a thread outside of the beginners section that nobody checks...

I didn't expect to be good within the first couple months of animating

I made this thread for cc, but aparently everyone's idea of that is "Why the **** isn't this guy in the BT?" and, "he's not good"

The whole Pivot section is a load of BUUULLLLLLLSHIIIIIIIIITTTt
I myself think beginner's threads are getting quite useless, as well as ranks. Although the BT does restrain all the complete immature faggots that only post pivot animations on YouTube.
so anyway

If you don't want to be labeled as a "beginner" you'll need to get familiar with various animation terms, and how to apply them to any animation. So read this huge tutorial: http://www.darkdemon.org/viewtopic.php?t=22662&start=0

Read mostly the beginner and intermediate section, because those contain things that you will need to get better, like easing, spacing, etc. If you're worried about "stealing" a style, don't worry. This is just a huge reference manual, it's not meant to make you change your animating ways.

Oi! I will not hear that about this beautiful pivot section!

The "download pivot." thread does it's job perfectly. Some would say too well.

99.9% of the pivot section is bullshit. ;)

I have no complaint with anyone posting outside beginners but I try to give more complete cc out than in. Inside the beginners thread I would tend to try to just say what I think the guy should work on first (ie. easing) wheras in a seperate thread I would try to list everything I can see. Unless I feel lazy. Or I forget. Still, it works in principle.

It looks better than previous ones, but here's something on your kicks: People don't kick with their front legs.
You just can't put force in it if you use front legs. So next time making a kick, use the back leg.
Also, you CAN move the arms in a kick, it may go wrong when you try it first time, but hey, practice makes perfect.

Also, the recoil on the gun was too small.

Uncheck merge, frame delay: 6, size 1/2. That's for pivot 2.2.5, dunno if you maybe use pivot 3, that's not my area of expertise.

Mmm, you want frame rate of about 20fps don't you? You can always flash it, but animating in slow motion isn't always a bad thing. It gets you thinking about movements more.

Basically what Gyohdon said, but also, when you recoil a gun, the force isn't going up, it's going back. The gun will point up because that's how the human arm hinges, but you want to lower the upper arm too to make it more back and less up.

Okay, i'm just really bad at arms so i've gotta practice that...

And i'll try working on more realistic kicks =]

Yes, but I'll give you some hints.
1). Stop the shake effect. It makes it hard to take a good look at the animation. Also, he doesn't have enough force to make the world shake.
2). When you kick, you usually stretch your leg in front of you, or in this case behind. This kick looked more like a stomp on the ground.
3). Add just a little bit more frames on the kick itself to give it that little powerful look. Maybe double-frame it if you know how to.

Apart from those little things you're taking the advice well.
You're doing great :D

Edit:
Looked at your double-kick animation. The first kick is the kind of kick I'm talking about. Stretched leg, in front of him.
