a couple things bug me here.
One, you put effects over the border. Doesn't really seem like there's any point in even having one if you're just going to mess with it. Obviously it's your choice though
Two, there's a ton of contrast, but not where it counts. I can hardly see any detail in the clouds, which to me are the most interesting part of the piece. I'd want the clouds to stick out from the background a bit more, they sort of fade into the black on the right. You could try sharpening the edges of the clouds a tiny bit to get them to pop out a bit more

whatever though. It's sort of basic, so i can't say a whole lot

Yeah, I don't really have my touch (as if I ever did). But thanks for the tips, will try them out.
