I was up until 3 am last night. had to wake up at 8 am. That's not the bad part.
Got back from class at noon. I thought, 'why not take a nap, you're tired!
Went to sleep and woke up an hour ago.
I had an REM sleep.
I'm not going to get to sleep tonight.
Sweet.

I watched Jurassic Park last night and I dreamt I was engineering some genetic code for some shit and for some reason there were animal guts on the floor and I had a headache in the dream and I woke up with a headache.

I had a lucid dream last week, it was awesome.
Also, when I get home from school, I'm usually really tired. When it's like 8pm I'm usually almost falling asleep. But then I always have some shit to do so I'm busy until around midnight, and when I try to go to bed then, I'm wide awake and can't fall asleep, eventhough I was tired like shit just a couple of hours ago. Am I the only one who notices this?

I had a dream about a house that had a big black family in it, then some 4 black guys came in and shot up half the house so the remaining 3 black brothers loot the place, get a new house, go to college, and make new friends. After that I woke up.
I don't know what it means.

No, I notice that essentially every night. I feel completely maxed out somewhere in the range of 7-10pm but if I push through (for whatever reason that evening) it kind of backfires and I'm awake as ****.
Also, if I wake up let's say an hour before I had planned, go back to sleep, and then wake up on time, it feels like my entire night of sleep was only that last hour and I feel super shitty. I hate it so much. I also hate having stuff to do that I can't figure out, thus causing me to get low amounts of sleep.
When I get great sleep, though, I have incredibly vivid dreams. I have had recurring dreams. I've had dreams so weird/insane/tangible that I remember them for years.

Yeah, I get that a lot, but when I try to go to bed much later on, I can still fall asleep in around five minutes. It used to take me half an hour to an hour before I was able to fall asleep.

This happens to me every night after work, and i work mon-fri. IT's frustrating as hell to be able to want to go to sleep so badly but not able to.

haha this also, it's like "one more hour of sleep and I'll be alll ready for the day" next hour "mmmbmbmmuuughhh i duunn wannaaaa"
i have horrible sleeping patterns, today for example i woke up and tossed and turned for what felt like hours and hours, so eventually i got sick of laying down trying to sleep and i got up expecting it to be at least 7:30, but when I check the clock its STILL ****ING 4 AM. i was pissed, and i still didn't get any sleep after.
i noticed that during the day I sleep much much easier than at night. and once in a while when I'm not working or in school for a while I'll sleep during the day only and not see light for a while haha usually though I smoke to help me sleep.

I have a friend that's an asshole about their sleep patterns. He talks about how he's so at one with sleep and can demand himself to wake up at 7 even if he went to bed at 5. To his assumption he can stay up longer than anyone in the world, but when I challenge this he says he doesn't feel like staying up.
Does anyone else have a friend or acquaintance or sworn enemy that think they are so with the night and are masters of beddy-bye time?
