Reason for Joining: I've been programming games for a while now and decided to give movie animation a try.
Favorite animation program: Flash, more customizable, can do many different styles. Looks more natural in Flash with paintbrush, gives it a classic quality, like a flipbook... I don't know, I like it, that's just me.
I programmed games in another program called Game Maker. It's a relatively easy-to-use software, easier than Flash, and with all of the customizability of Flash, it's just that it uses pre-done code, which is slower than manually written code specific to your game and its needs. It uses complete collision checks with all objects (often not needed) and built-in variables to simplify coding, but it's not as fast as Flash. Still a little confused with Flash, but getting the concept...
I started working on a fighting movie. So far I've spent about two hours on it. At the moment, it consists of two guys standing next to each other, who then assume position. The guy on the right takes a couple of kung-fu style swings at other guy which are both blocked and followed up with a gut buster: RIGHT in the abs... And it ends there right now... lol. I might post a sneak peak once it gets a little longer. Right now, the movie is two seconds long, but I want it to be nice and smooth, so it will take a while. I'm using 24 fps, by the way.

Go to yoyogames.com, it's got games made by people who use it. Some of them are really cool and extremely well streamlined, since Game Maker is already a relatively slow language.
EDIT: Thanks for the good luck...

Yup, I've used Game Maker, it's great, and a lot of fun when you really get into it.

Yeah, I'm gonna post a link here after it finishes uploading. I really needed to get an update out to replace that buggy audio player. Okay, here's the link:
yoyogames.com/games/show/99066
I've started a few different projects, most of which I never really kept going on, and one of which I basically gave up on, due to lack of time. It was going to be an MMORPG, but I realized I wouldn't be able to keep a good server up, so I just said "forget it". Not only that, but I started it back when I was still a beginner and it took so long to get going I kinda lost interest in it.
The game I've been working on is called Clean Shot, a friend started it a long time ago and I joined him so I could try to improve his AI. He quit a while back and I'm not sure if he's ever going to finish it, but I kinda wanted to finish the game, so I have been working a little on it every now and then.
It's a survival shooting game. There's a description with that link, so that should be a good enough description for you. Screenshots and such are included there, so I won't waste time putting them here. I only put one song in there to save file space, since it's just a demo still, but it's playable.
