Some people are unaware of various statistics or are simply ignorant. Just look at the brief argument I had with Schall the other day about the US constitution.

I believe in ghosts, because I've seen them until about 5 or 6 years ago.
Don't see them anymore, sometimes I hear voices, but that could be anything.

I think saying that ghosts are not supported by science is stupid, mainly because we don't have a single clue what a ghost actually is.

I myself, at least think I've had first hand experience with ghosts. I do have some unexplainable stories involving ghosts. But I don't think I want to make this into a story telling thread. What I will tell however, is that you can't completely dismiss the idea of ghosts existing. There are many people out there who say they've seen ghosts or have had experience with them. Why just last night, I watched "The 10 Creepiest Places To Visit" on the Travel Channel. And most of them obviously had something to do with ghosts. And there were all these different people that said they have seen paranormal things. So I'm not 100% on the whole ghost thing, but I do strongly believe that they may exist.

As much as I believe in ghosts, even I know that those shows are completely fake. Except the interviews with the people whove experienced it. And even then the producers tell them what to say.

What people have it's fear.
It's an adrenaline rush that releases a bunch of (i don't know the name translated) to your brain when you are in the dark, per example, and fear that something may attack you.

It's just our survival instinct kicking off.
Literaly telling us to get the **** out of where we are.

Either a lot of you are trolls, or so stubborn that you become ignorant to opposing arguments. I'm not saying there is no such things as ghosts, but come up with better arguments without stating the same things over and over again which basically come down to "Prove they don't exist", which is stupid because you should be the ones explaining why they do. If you don't understand why that is the case please exit the debate section now.

Then how are you justified in saying that you believe in them? That's like saying "I believe in Gahanahoins, and I have no idea what they are".

And I agree with Automaton. The burden of proof is on the person making the claim, not those he is trying to convince. If I said "Fairies exist", then it wouldn't be your responsibility to prove that fairies don't exist, it would be mine.

You believe in ghosts, so your mind makes you see what you want to see.

Quite a wonder, the human brain.

Alright, fair enough. The mind can make you see what you see based on belief. Now, what about a camera? They don't have a mind.

Yes, but when I saw what I saw I was not a believer. I had my mind far from the subject.

:Bricked: Yes, but your subconscious mind is pretty much your conscious mind so a halusination would still only happen if I, recently, did anything to put it in my mind. (which I didnt.)
