I'll be absolutely damned if two player borderlands isn't the most fun with a video game I have ever had in my entire life.

Try four-player, it's even more fun. Although, everybody needs to stick to a certain gun, because otherwise everybody is rushing into the battle with a ****ing shotgun.
Anyway, completed the main story and I'm at level 36. Still have a couple of side-missions to do, but I doubt they'll get me to 40, let alone 50. Looks like I'm gonna have to hit Playthrough 2. Interplanetary Ninja Assassin.

Unfortunately I've only gotten to play this once (I have too much homework) and I'll never get to play it online.
I've got satellite internet which can barely handle the youtube. D:
You know what would be great?
If they incorporated an 'arena mode' for max level characters where they and a team of their amigos can fight subsequently stronger hordes of enemies and compete to survive the longest.
This is a very lame and stereotypical idea but I think it would help extend the longevity of the game.

Lvl 22 Hunter. But I'm getting bored. Cos I always have to run away and shoot from a distance.

If you haven't killed it yet, there's two really easy ways.
The first: Get in a car, auto-aim (Press A when you're driving) from a distance and just fire rockets at it.
Or, you could shoot at it with a sniper rifle, I ended up using a 212 Dam. x4 fire element sniper rifle.
It took some time, but as long as you avoid it's explosive shit when it flies over at you, you'll be good to go. Heck, even if it hits you, your shield will probably recharge by the time it flies back to it's original position.
The best spot to do this is just on a cliff-edge. You'll have to get close to get it to come out, but if you run back, it'll be a piece of piss.
I'm currently on Playthrough 2, level 41. Have some ****ing awesome Revolver. 2 bullets in a mag, but it has infinite ammo, and x4 explosive damage with around 300 damage.
Orange rarity.
I'm rockin' a pearl sniper rifle, aswell.
The annoying thing about playthrough 2 is that when you die, you're charged like 120000+. Luckily, I've only died twice. I'm doing it single-player so it's pretty ****ing easy, but even the Skags at the start were taking 6 shotgun rounds.

i've done it now but it took me a damn long time to figure it out, i got in the car with the machine gun and drove up to the top of the ramp that you fly up to jump piss gully or w/e and just unloaded, drove off the top whenever he came near and he just lost interest

I'm guessing you mean because of his sniper rifle. Easy to get around, either use a close-quarters gun (Shotgun, SMG) or just line up your crosshairs on them, quickly scope in and shoot.
Seriously, I find the Sniper rifles to be the best weapons in the game.
Also, word of advice for you as you're using the Hunter, the skill tree I went with was:
Sniper
Focus 5-5 Caliber
Smirk 0-0 Killer
Loaded 5-0 Carrion Call
Tresspass 5
Rogue
Swift Strike5-0 Swipe
Fast hands 5-5 Out for blood
Aerial Impact 0-0 Ransack
Bird of Prey 2
Gunslinger
Deadly 0(3)-0(2) Gun crazy
Lethal strike 0-0(3) Riotous Remedy
Predator 0-0 Hair trigger
Relentless 0
Bolded ones are the ones I found to be the most helpful. The bracketed numbers are what I intend to spend my last skill points on. My character mod has Bird of prey +3, so Blood wing attacks 5 enemies before coming back.
Although this skill tree feels right for me, you may want to just try mixing it about to fit your play style.
Also, if you don't know how to change your skill points, it's on the thing where you change your characters colour. At the bottom. It costs, but never too much.
I have a level 22 Roland, a level 27 Brick, and a level 19 Lilith. I'll probably work on skill trees for them once I hit 50 with Mordecai.
I have ones in mind, but I haven't had a chance to test them out fully yet.
