Alright, so I try to play gmod and it says its starting, window goes away...nothing happens other than some windows firewall shit. I unblock it, disable the firewall and try again...nothing. I restart my computer. I try to run TF2. The intro movie plays in a window version, not really a window but it isn't fullscreen which is weird. After it the area just turns white...nothing happens so I click inside the box (Even though my mouse just dissapears inside of it) and nothing happens, the window closes and TF2 doesn't run.
Any suggestions? It's all downloaded, updated and everything.

"Ma'am, I seen him do it, ma'am. He be switchin' his OS so he kuld get dat DirectX 10."

as you should do with any OS, it isn't vistas problem..
I've played every game flawlessly so far, and I installed off the exact same disk you did.
also, protip: don't ask for help on stickpage forums, unless it has something to do with animation.
not having your latest drivers is also probably why you cant run Aero

So you think every Vista has problems like this this just because it's vista, and no other problems that could've possibly happened to his computer to cause these problems?

this happens on any windows OS if you don't install ****ing drivers, it isn't vistas fault.
