It doesn't need to be at the top.

Its called a bump, if a thread is dieing like this was for example you post again to bring back on top of all the other lists so people will look at it.

well i guess its just something that all newbies do, bump a thread to get to 20 posts, most of the time by accident. they learn their lesson after one really old bump like this.
