So this past two weeks i've been learning how to use this program, Max/MSP.
basically it's like a blank canvas/sand box for audio engineering. http://www.cycling74.com/products/max5

So far I've been learning it pretty diligently, and have made progress, but ill show that in a second.
So this is kind of like audiomulch, if youve heard of that, were you write messages into boxes and connect them, thats the basic of it. Obviously, it is going to take time to learn, because there is a great deal of knowledge behind knowing what everything is doing and how it is working. It's pretty advanced stuff, college level. And learning this at an early age will be beneficial.

greats like autechre use this for their stuff, daft punk does too, but they dont really use it for the experimental purposes.

so far, i can make this:

which is a basic synth.
note that this was 100% made by me.
basically it takes four waveforms and puts them into a selector, whatever one is selected from the dropbox is solo'd and is the only one playing. The frequency (pitch) is determined by the number box at the top. and it all goes down to the digital analogue converter at the bottom.

anyways, just want to tell you what im up to
