Got a fortress with about 80 dwarfs, currently under seige by like 300 goblins.

I lol'ed at your signature. Is it a real cat because I can see the hanging kind of fur, his balls? It might be fake, it looks human made. Using size tricks.

i hear good things about it, but i don't feel like going through and reading a huge tutorial on how to play. plus i got too many games i've payed for to play lol.

I've heard a lot about this game too, and I just downloaded it.

To anyone trying it out, this, and all the following parts, seem like a great guide to get you started. So far, I am enjoying this.

I've decided this shit has a hell of a learning curve and my dwarfs are idiots, 90% of the farms I place on soil/clay are either not built or not planted. Also, alt + arrows doesn't let me move down menus which is causing a bit of trouble.

So my sheriff started hearing voices in his head, locked himself in a room, and made a masterwork floodgate out of slate despite having a very low masonry skill, named it "Durthemtthat", then proceeded to beat everybody in my fortress to death with it.











Because his office was too small.

Decided to start playing this. Seems complicated, but this is one of the only games that I actually want to practice and get good at.

when i said i was going to try and give this a go earlier i gave up because it was too difficult, but after a few hours of persistence I'm finding this extremely fun, really enjoying it
