Quote from adrenalineflashYeah. People need to suck it up and stop being offended because someone doesn't give a **** about "Their savior" or said Merry Christmas to an Atheist.
Yes, and I will continue to laugh at people of all kinds of religions for the rest of my life...safely on the internet where the Muslims can't blow my house up.
See...stop being offended and grow balls when people joke, we all do. Most people on the internet aren't angry when they are typing mean things to you.

Because we deep down hate the world, the people that inhabit it, and most of the things on it. And because that poor African kid with aids getting hit by a baseball bat repeatedly for no reason is a good way to pass the time and let off some luls.

The adolesent users on the internet laugh about such things because it makes them feel better about themselves, especially if there is a girl getting raped and humiliated on say ''nothingtoxic'' everyone would see that and be like ''lmao, wow what a stupid bitch getting raped and shit'' because you know that would/will never happen to you, and it makes you feel good. Seeing some girl getting humiliated also makes you feel really good and the only way to show that in reality is by laughter or, by having pride or some sort of good feeling afterwards

Thanks Captain Science,
you've proved with undeniable evidence that every single one of these insensitive internet users is an immature, insecure shell of a person that laughs at serious situations because they desperately need to feel better about themselves. Shame on people for not feeling obligated to feel personal compassion and sympathy for every person that has ever had something bad happen to them ever.
In a perfect world, people wouldn't be allowed to say anything that could possibly offend anybody under any circumstances right?

Laughing at things is more fun than pretending to care right?

LOL you are so ignorant! they do not desperatly need to feel better about themselves but it is what is convienient for them at the time and also what is to their best interest, considering a youtube video is like 2 minutes long or not even sometimes, do you think they are going to take the time to think about what happened and say to themselves ''wow...I really feel bad for this guy.. this and this and that happened in his life and'' blah blah blah..yeah right.. its more like ''lmfao raped.. good thing I aint him''. And no, I am not saying that it is a bad thing, it is just human nature, especially of those who arent mature mentally, and I am one of them dont get me wrong. It also depends on what the person is viewing, or heard about.
Dont call me captain science, I prefer Kaillera Nye the science guy.

I'm confused. You called me ignorant, which seemed to suggest that this was a rebuttal, but your post seems to be agreeing with me.
I stated that reasonably speaking, people can't be expected to feel compassion for people getting hurt in a video, and that it's unrealistic to expect people to stop and think about it and feel bad. You agree with me completely on that point, and actually reinforce my point by saying that it is simply human nature.
Perhaps you didn't get that my post was sarcastic? Although I try to make my sarcasm as blatant as humanly possible.

You were being sarcastic about my post so then to counter your sarcasm I tried once again to give you another explaination of why they/we do what we do while we watch those things. Since your obvious sarcasm pointed to a direction that said '' no that isnt true''. you said that i was agreeing with you. But how? where was I agreeing with you? I was agreeing with your sarcasm? because unlike what you just said I dont remember you stating anything. I was backing up myself, not you.

here I sort of messed up. Instead of contradicting what I said earlier by saying'' they do not desperatly need to feel better about themselves but'' I should have said '' Not only do they need to feel better about themselves but in conjunction with that they also'' blah blah blah. I apologize for the misunderstanding, but it is the way I talk sometimes. I get confused when trying to argue sarcasm...dun do it..=/
