Now first, there are two sights that i use to get sound from, Findsounds.com and Flaskit.com
Findsounds.com
Open findsounds you will see a search bar. click and type what kind of sound you want. Don't be specific about your sounds though. Now browse through the sounds and click on the little speaker icon. This will display the sound. Like It? Then right click on the speaker and click save target as. Give it a name and there you go it's saved.
Flashkit.com
Now first open flashkit and in the top left hand corner, look through all the words and find sound FX and click on it. There will be a bunch of different types of sounds and find one that interests you. The sounds will have a small arrow in the box with the bars, and that will generate the sound. If you like just download like before. Save as a Wav file!
Now open Windows Movie Maker and click file. Then press import into collections and find where you saved your movie you want to put sound onto, and your sound and music. Then drag the movie into the timeline. If it dosen't show it then click show timeline in the bottom. Then you must click zoom next to the timeline to sync the sound with what is happening in the movie. Then drag the sounds under the movie to the frame you want with sound. Finish your movie and save it. There you go! Remember to save as a GIF file before importing it into WMM.

Well Uberschall, it's true it's pointless to put sound on Pivot but it increases the enjoyment of the movie, like stickfigures on crack would be pointless without sound.( I think it's pivot, I mean the guys name is Pivot Master)

Yes. If by 'would be' you mean 'is' and by 'without sound' you mean '.'.
Anyway, it's not a bad tutorial and some people might want to put sound in there thing for whatever reason. The main reason this could be considered pointless is, like ScHall said, there's already a tut for this.
Nov 29, 2009 4:09 PM #519073
seriously? I looked everywhere for a tut like this and no jelly. Of course I looked at Uberschall's example in his post, and that one kind of sucked.

Stickfigures on Crack is shit anyway and it's exactely what happens when people put sound to their pivot animations. A 2000 frames shitfest with horrible sound effects and preschooler jokes.
So yes, I rest my case.
