It's really good, though it would be better if there were stains on the ground from the blood.

That looks sweet but i just think it should be a little gory

It looked like alot of tweens, and the dude with the gun resized.

Its really "fresh" thats the first word that came in my mind when I saw that.
I like it, everything seem "okay" I think you know what are the flaws
lack of inbetweens, its just a few key poses and extremes, add more inbetweens so it looks more fluid and less laggy
Theres no physics when the zombie hits the ground (or when its falling) again, fix that by adding more detail in the animation = more inbetweens. I often use this style of animation (lacking the definition) when I have some deadline, or when Im angry, or something, bored, yeah, mostly when Im bored I start to do things like this, I just dont like to do the inbetweening when I dont want to and then, when i watch animation I feel like I should do that before and I go and do that again, the whole thing again and when I wanted to save my time and do something else (so I left the animation with just a few keys, extremes and inbweens) it was pointless, because I dont like it anymore, so how I solve this situation when I tend not to do the work as I want it to do I just have a break, 10 minutes, half an hour, how many I need.Breakes even though you might think they dont, but yeah, they do shorten your time that you work on your animations, just in case you were in need of advice in this direction, but I guess you didnt really want to be picky about the movement and you wanted to show us the work already.
So yeah, if you want to stick with animation, or if you just like improving, definitely add more frames and take your time to do the best job.
Now the blood, well, its a liquid, as a lot of people seem not to know :D blood contains a lot of water (something about 90% I guess) so it has to act and react almost like drops of water ! Hope that helped you, if not, watch lf2's animations, Terkoizs animation, Jcamelos animations ;)
The guy on the right resized when he kneed down
I like the shadows I guess thats why I like it that much =) it seems really "freshy" hehe :D
I hope you dont mind me talking a lot, again :)

Yeah, I sort of rushed the blood, and thanks.
Quote from DarkCloudThat looks sweet but i just think it should be a little gory
Yeah, thank you.

The guy resized, yeah, but I'm curious to why it looked like tweens, because I never use them...

Well I did it all in one sitting essentially, and yeah it takes quite a while WITHOUT more imbetweens, so I guess I just got lazy.

Damn, you watched the zombie instead of the blood! I hated the zombie fall too :[

Well I do need some good C&C, I'm very rusty on fullbody. I posted it more because I knew it was pretty average and I needed crit. :]

Definitely.

Yep.

Yep.

Really? I sort of did the shadows as an afterthought...
But I do understand the "fresh" thing; I like this sort of comic-book outlining style and I know what you mean.
I hope you dont mind me talking a lot, again :)
No, it's really helpful, thanks.

wow tawnik really gets down to the facts and birds.... it was cool :c
Dec 19, 2009 4:41 AM #525847
Thank you.
Dec 19, 2009 4:47 AM #525854
i didn't read what tawnik said so this is probably covered, the guy with the gun resizes, i think you could've used darker colors for the zombie, because it is a zombie after all. needs shading+detail and the zombie's fall is extremely choppy. i like it though. ;]

Yeah, its nice that you dont argue with me :D
btw, I made this for you, just because its Christmas of course =)
http://www.truploader.com/view/218113
Thats how would I deal with that fall, I would add some anticipation for it (the moving forward and backward, just to let the audience know that the zombie is still alive and then it falls down and dies) if you click the epic button I made you can see the line of action when its falling, it should be a curvature, because the light head is dragged by HEAVY body, especially the pelvis, so it should be like this, legs come up because I like to do that =D just jump on your bed and try to fall down, you legs should do something like this.
edit, my animation looked like the zombie wanted to smash the ground so I added a few frames to the falling part, now it looks better =)

I dont really like the blur you put on the blood, it makes it a little hard to follow at that speed. you did a nice job keeping the fullbodies looking the same. well done
