You guys make it seem like it is the best game ever made.it's a good game,but it's not freaking awesome game of the year.you act like nine year olds waiting for the new halo to come out.whats so freaking amazing about it?

It's fun to mod
It doesn't take a high end PC to run it decently

cod is way better cuz the gfx are more realistic. tf2 is for kids

tf2 is a hell of alot of fun, the only reason i don't play it is because im shit at it and i get thrashed by stupid elitists every time i play

That's fair, it's a personal choice. I like both, they have very different feels, you know?

COD and TF2 are two totally different games. The only thing they have in common are the fact that they're both FPS's Lets look at COD.

Game has a campaign. Has perks, kill streaks, and deathstreaks. Different weapon attachments. COD has about 31-32 different guns, but when you think about it. You almost never see people using SMGs, The only guns really used are assault rifles like from the ACR, Tar, and Scar, and sniper rifles? Just about the barret 50cal. You don't have that many different online play modes. FFA, ground war, 3rd person tactical, etc etc. When it comes to maps and community mods, theres well close to NONE. Sure the campaign is fun, the spec ops is fun. Once you play through the campaign are you really going to play through it again? Once you get all 69 stars in spec ops are you going to play them again? Whats left after that? Repetitive online play?

And then there is TF2, Theres no campaign, spec ops, just pure online play, but what makes the online play so great? Well, the amount of mods, different user created maps, different game modes. Not to mention the game has been updated for the past two years, for FREE. To this date there are a total of 57(not exact, just a quick count up from the tf2 wiki) amount of weapons. Sure some may like COD's graphics more, some may like TF2. Its a total show of OPINION. One thing people often don't understand from TF2, is that its name "Team" Fortress 2 for a reason. They want you to work as a team. COD? I never seen two people work as a team in 3 weeks of straight playing.

Now remember I'm talking about the console COD and the PC TF2. I find COD alot easier to win at because guns like the Tar, Scar, ACR. Take a total of what, 2 hits to kill someone? It only takes one knife to kill someone. Not to mention the kill streaks, stuff like the AC10 plane, pavelow, etc, that can throw the game way off course. Like for instance, I join a game, run around for a bit, get killed a few times, kill a few people. Someone calls in an airdrop, they get gunned down. I run over and take my team mates air drop. Inside was the AC10 plane, I got to a safe spot and activated it, by the time it was over I was 20+ kills, and stayed at the same amount of deaths. They could do nothing to stop me. Sounds like balance eh? Then there are perks for COD. What I most seen used are Slight of hand, stopping power, hardline, scavenger, and commando. COD will most likely receive no new weapons, while TF2 is constantly updated. TF2 is a great balance game, was well balanced the day of its release and is still well balanced.
