nova is a first person shooter game for the iPod touch. The game is a clone (or near clone) of the Halo franchise, but for a more portable platform. The game is 7 bucks in the app store but it is well worth he price. The normal campaign is stretched over 5 or so maps. The real draw of nova is the multiplayer. Anywhere you are (with a wifi connection, of course) you can join deathmatch servers.
The controlls are suprisingly fluent fir a full touch screen device, with a joystick for movement and dragging on the screen to aim. There is a btton to shoot, a button for paralyzing enamies, and a button for grenades. I would have to give this game a 9/10 for sometimes sticky controlls and not enough online gamemodes. But, like all apps, there will be updates.
