Most of the people who vote for an animation, don't specifically look for anything wrong in the animation, such as lack of easing or something, they mostly focus on the entertainment the animation delivers. Poppets animation had dialog, some story to follow.

@zed, the animation is good, but like arch I agree that the orange guy is moving a bit too fast for the speed his legs are going at. if you're not careful it might be viewed at choppy. also, the blue guy at the VERY end when he's about to go at it with the orange guy? theres a bit of an odd trail, of JUST the top of the sword moving. i don't mind THAT, i mind the fact the the trail is round. give it a little spike. you can see how to do some properly on droidz forums, they have some cool drawing tuts.

back to the orange guy, think about the position he's in at the end so far. does that REALLY look suitable for a guy to fight in? it may be to you, but what is he going to do with the current camera view, swing both swords down and hope one of them hits the guy?
so you don't HAVE to do this, because you're probably more creative and hence could probably do something cool even in this situation, but you either think of changing the camera view so you have more options, or you could just change his stance when he meets the blue guy.

but im a nub so you CAn choose to ignore all that :P

Lol using a sword is quite hard. I have done about 60 frames of offence but thats about it so far. EDIT: shit yeah, finished it. I'm currently on my phone so i'll post it up tommorow, or maybe tonight if i get the chance.
