In pivot, when I try to save my animation as a gif file, an error comes up saying "division by zero", and it doesn't save. Please help.:Nooooooo: :Nooooooo:

You are setting the options wrong. Since you evidently didn't check the stickies first I deduce that you must be on pivot 3, no? You want it to save like this:

Make sure you have at least one frame of animation too.

Surprising. That's the better option. You want these then:

Shouldn't do. I do it all the time.

Generally the divide by zero error would only come up if resize was set to 0. I suspect you clicked the down arrow by the side of it by accident.

Why? what makes it bad? Plus, I did everything you said. I tried to save it to the desktop, but same error. would this error also come up if you made it into an avatar, like I did??

The error means that the resize option was set to zero, doing this means it makes the frame size 1/0 of its original, which is retarded. Just change it from 0 to, oh say 2 and it should work, if it doesn't you either didn't change it or have ****ed the program. Most likely by downloading it from someone who uploaded a damaged version. It if doesn't fix, uninstall completly and reinstall with the file from a different download. However, I'd say go get easytoon, pivot is pretty bullshit compared to, well, everything.

because "shrink frames" multiplies the height and width of your animation by (one divided by x), where x is the value that you put in.

now, as we all (SHOULD) well know, the question "one divided by x?" can also be phrased as "how many times does x fit in to one?". think about this for a moment. if the question were "how many times does zero fit in to one?", what would you answer?

you might answer infinite, but infinite is an undefined number. thus, we technically cannot divide by zero.

the error you were getting is the result of attempting to divide by zero. no program, let alone pivot, knows how to handle division by zero, and will present you with an error if it is told to do so.

why have i written this? you will probably not read this, and it's even more unlikely you will comprehend it.

god dammit

try to have a LITTLE faith in humanity. His problem was fixed, and I don't see why this thread hasn't been closed.
