thanks for proving my point, fanboy

You're a lot better as a troll when you go after targets more likely to react violently. Though I'm glad I was able to provide you with some amusement.

Anyway.

2-D's right, you gotta take the good with the bad. Gay as f*ck story is a fair trade-off for a good rpg with generally fun as hell, if occasionally simplistic, "reaction command" events. Not to mention not half bad level design and fast-paced combat.

And, personally, I thought the Gummi Ship was fun as hell. I spent as much time pimping my ships and kicking enemy vessel ass as I did playing the main game. In all seriousness, if they released a stand-alone, expanded Gummi Ship game, I'd pay money for it. Granted, I wouldn't pay more than $15, but still.

*shrugs*

Read what you want. All I'm saying is it's kinda stupid for a 16-year-old with all of one year of combat experience to be able to beat a guy who was literally bred for it. What's so wrong about that?

Can't stand FF7 anyway. I much prefer FF9. :/

Oh man I love you. It seemed I was the only one liking FF9 More then 7(And 8). I read a lot found it a dissapointment after those 2 but that it was still a good game

But that's probably cause I finished FF9 first cause my 7 had a glitch shi/bad copy thing.

I Wouldn't hesitate buying KH1/2 again for 70 bucks, better then any xbox 360 (experience) I had so far

My first FF was 8, and while I found it fun, it just didn't quite measure up to FF9. 9, for me, had exactly the effect they intended it to have without me having really met the criteria; it looked and felt like a more old-school FF, almost spitting in the face of the cyberpunk-ish 7 and 8. Even down to the character designs; oversized heads, chibi-esque proportions, all reeked of the awesome of "classical" gaming. while still being new and, for its time, rather visually impressive, at least as far as cut scenes go.

I actually like Final Fantasy Tactics better than all the numbered games, though, just because the nature of the game allowed me to feel more involved.

I like FF12 for the same reason I like KH, come to think of it. Both still feel like they're FF games, but each is unique in its own way; one represents a new direction for the series, the other is a true spinoff and takes an equally interesting direction with it.

I agree on the tactics thing I thought it was pretty damn good for a turn based strategy game, though I think disgea definately is better. Personally I still think tactics is pretty great despite the fact that I like disgea better.
Though if your talking visually impressive, for it's time final fantasy seven had hands down the best cutscenes I have ever seen on an original playstation. Not necissarily graphic quality but the content, when weapon blew president shinra up it blew my mind along with it.
I would say that the character design spitting in the face of anything is a little bit of a stretch, mainly because it just because the concepts alone where kind of cheezy honestly I can't take someone who looks like that seriously, ecspecially stiener. That and vivi is just a recycled black mage with a name. Cloud was designed and born to be an amazing soldier, as to where Zidane is a pretty standard medevil kid and an average character for a game. Even the story is just a bit pall, cloud goes insaine and tries to kill aerith. Zidane, wooo let's remember your past.....

I liked Kh1 more. The reason is because Kari and riku were actually in them all the time, that was interesting as **** to play. While in KH2, the moments I really enjoyed where when I saw them and they appear right before the end boss battle >.>.

All the stages are like ''Have you seen riku/kari'' ''Carttoon dude: nope'' ''aw ok''

but the battle system, things to do have all been improved, which is a good thing.

I always thought the battle engine was the best, except for Re: CoM. That took some time to get used to -_-
