No. You're the kid that's at home laughing and praising the fact that you cannot be hit by a truck while walking to school because your obese cannot find the strength to leave your bed.

If you don't agree with everyone being sympathetic, then get the **** out of the thread and ignore it you stupid ****.

Implying I'm fat.

Obviously.
I'm not all sad by the fact that this happened. There probably isn't anyone here that knew him good enough to care that much. Everyone is just saying how sorry they are for someone to have to die like this.

It still isn't a justifiable reason for Vincent to make an ass out of himself.

Well. I feel like a huge ****ing cock now because I lol'd when I saw Lixu's picture. Goddammit.
It really sucks if you think about it. Imagine that Lixu's shoe came untied while he was walking to school, and he stopped for a bit to tie it again. That would have saved his life. Same thing for if he walked to school just a little bit faster/slower for the whole way. But nope, he got the unlucky one-in-a-million moment which lead to him rushing in front of a truck, just at that time.
RIP.

the thing you have to remember about is the fact that yes, he may have been annoying, but the freindship me and him had was not half bad, but i think thats half to do with the fact that he loved my work, and wanted to be accepted by me and the other admins on fluidanims like stone and terkoiz.

i dunno, i surtianly didnt find him half that bad at all, but he could have matured since the times where he posted on dickpage, and decided to post on fluidanims from now on.

but im not really sure, the point is that i actually bonded with him a little bit, and it is sad for me to see him go, infact its sad to see anyone go, even if you do have nothing to do with them.

not seeing him in fa-irc is going to be a challange, as he was allways there to greet me when i logged in, but everybody dies, its when thats the thing.

and on this thread, please keep the trolling to a minimum guys, it doesnt seem right so say a whole load of crap on a page, to do with a fellow animator dying.

I'm not trying to convince people of anything.
I'm telling them to stop kidding there selfs.

Also, this place would be boring and pretty shallow if everyone was the nice guy that agreed on everything.

You really don't get it, do you? People don't have to agree on everything, however the death of a member is completely different than an average, everyday topic. It should at least warrant the community to come together and be respectful about it. Not everything needs to be turned into a debate; there are topics that are okay to agree on (like how the death of a 16 year old kid is sad).

Quote from Vincent
How about you accept that fact that there are in fact people that don't-
fucking
like
him.

And since we are playing a game of assumption, maybe I am that kid that's always quiet in class and doesn't talk shit about people in real life when they die. But who knows, it's the internet.

I'm not normally an ass like this but now you guys are just getting pathetic.

In before I'm banned for a day/week/whatever to "cool off" or "stop being such an asshole".

You don't have to like him to feel sorry for him. Just because he "wasn't exactly a nice guy" doesn't mean you can't feel bad about it or that people are being pathetic for showing any remorse. Maybe you're not really comprehending the fact that it's not just that he isn't going to post here anymore, but that a human life was taken and he was never given the chance to live a full life or say goodbye to anyone. It has nothing to do with liking him. I have started to severely dislike you because of this thread, but if you died, I would have the same reaction and I would argue with some douche that was talking about how everyone is being pathetic for feeling sorry for such a giant asshole.

This will be the end of this argument. I have homework to be doing right now and I'm just urging you on by replying.

Ok Vincent, I have been reading this entire thread and I'm sick of you calling us pathetic because we are mourning the death of one of our members just because you didn't like him all that much. Are you trolling for the fun of trolling a death thread or do you really think hat we suck because we feel remorse? Either way, lixu was one of us. He was a human being. Even if we didn't like him that much, he was in our lives. Even as text, we formed thoghts about him. He was as real as any of us, and he died tragically. Why are you coming into his thread and bashing him? Have some goddamn respect.
Tl;dr I lost any shred of respect for you.

If we start caring about this guy who we all had admittedly very little connection to then we'll have to start caring about every death that happens (AKA 1.78 per second) and then we'd just be crying our asses off day and night. Leave the grieving to his family/real friends, it's not disrespectful or anything. It's just we (I'm assuming) didn't have enough of a social connection to warrant us caring about his death, same as we all don't really care about the 25 African children who were orphaned by AIDs since you started reading this post.

Shit sucks, but we're not the ones who should be grieving.

But we actually interacted with Lixu in our lives. Not with the people dying constantly, or the children with AIDs.

Whatever, you have your own threshold for when you start caring about people. I never met him or made any sort of real ok I cannot focus with Scarecrow's ridiculous signature in front of me

There are so few stick animators... and one of them had to die. I'm dedicating a round of this year's StickPage TLTFT to Lixu (I can't be in the FA collab, I animate very slow and would just hold it back...).
