The reason why I don't visit dickpage as much as other stickfigure animation sites is because it has a bad name, with all the noobs, prepubescent trollers and flamers.

But apart from the odd few in this thread, it hasnt really been all that bad at all.

It's easy to forget that there are living breathing people on the other end, and when someone dies, it can hit you quite hard, like it has done to me.

The direct link from the SP main site does draw a lot of spam, yeah, but if you only look at the regular members you'll probably find they're about the same as anywhere else. And ignore most of the pivot section; that's really just there to keep the spam away from the easytooners and real animators.

My heathen condolences to a young man who may have made great contributions to the animation community if given the chance. I'm vaguely familiar with the name and I remember replying to some of his posts, but I don't recall his posts that much.

It's sad to know he passed away so young and in such a terrible way.
