hello, my name is DEMONWINGS and im just shoutin out that im a (fairly) new member. I hope to make animations in the future but 500 bucks is hard to come by, so if you guys have any tips on making nice vids w/easytoon or pivot pleez notify me! thnx in advance if u do. i'm stinking serious about making cartoons, so pleez pleez pleez pleez pleez PLEEZ help me if you can. again, thnx in advance if u do.
one last thing before i go...
ANY EXPERIENCED STICKPAGE ANIMATORS ADD ME AS A FRIEND!!! I NEED ALL THE FRREEKIN HELP I CAN GET!!!!

You physically cannot get onto the stickpage frontpage without obtaining flash. Only flash movies can be put there. I would recommend you get pivot though, because I suspect you'll find it easier. You probably want to check out the tutorials section too. Post lots of tests, listen to the criticism, practise, and I'm sure you'll be good in no time.

If you're serious about animating, you really should get flash. HOWEVER, I personally think pivot and easytoon are a great place to start.

Pivot will help you get a grasp of the basic principles of animating like physics, movement, easing, form, etc, and easytoon will be good practice at drawing and frame by frame animation once you've gotten used to that. After you've practiced in both programs for a while (and decided if you still want to persue animating), then I recommend you get flash.
