but yeah awesome stuff, it deserves it, i was very dissapointed when i saw that it only had a score of 3.3, but now after a few weeks of slowly gaining score its finally doing well :D

Yes, but number one. has 100000x more votes in total, and is there much longer. it isn't the score, well it is, but it depens on howmany dudes. its not a system like here (Thx GOD) jk :P. if someone like the first person votes 5. it has a 5/5 (which isnt possible since you have to have 200 votes to go to tha thingy)
But, then it doesnt become first. because its not the top 50 chose, because it only had one vote.

no, its just a mistake, if it stays at 4.53 till tomorrow, it will move to the top regardless of how many votes it has. the system is the score. just that you have to have 200 votes and have to wait a week to see where you're ranked.

the top 50 auto updates every day i think or maybe it does it in real time and this is just a 1 off mistake...regardless it should be at the top tomorrow..it even says in the submission 'score rank 1'

yeah, They update everyday.. So it should be on top of the list soon.

Ghost fight is very good, but seriously. I mean, I'm happy for him, but really. Look at Waterlollies. I just don't think it should be #1. Maybe #10, but, I just don't think its rated right on New Grounds. It'll probably go down once it gets more votes, though.

True =] But of course it will go down, eventually. First animator vs animation came, or w.e That one was first for like a long time, But now its not even IN the top 50 (I think) But I hope this stays at least in there.

nah, it'll probably be in the top 50 for a couple of weeks, maybe even a couple of months, but almost everything gets knocked out of it eventually, i mean look. only 2 of adam phillips' movies are in the top 50, despite the fact that all of them deserve to be in there, this amazing animation: fallen angel teaser http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/192340 was number 1 for ages and in the top 50 for literally years, but even that has been knocked down quite a bit now.

going by how fast ghostfight's score is dropping, it wont be number 1 for very long and i doubt it'll stay in the top 50 for too long. but just getting there in the first place is an awesome achievement, like truely amazing stuff.

I definitely think it will stay in top 50 for a long while. Just look at shock2 >_>

The major reason why the score is dropping so much now is because many ppl don't want it to be first. Therefore they vote poorly. Once this drops to maybe around 10th or something.. the rate won't change drastically anymore cause ppl won't notice it as much. That's what I think anyways.
