i understand EA is what usually screws people over but it's ubisoft

Lately EA is alright, other then their DLC announcing and shit, but drm wise, whatever.
hell, the last few games i bought were published by ea, me2, dragon age, bc2

they likely learned their lesson with spore.

I don't think Ubisoft realizes that this shit actually contributes to piracy. This is the only reason I pirated spore, and I uninstalled it once EA got rid of the DRM. (Yeah, that's the reason. I didn't stop playing because I got bored, not at all.)

I for one like EA's new anti piracy measures, where they give some pretty neat downloadable content onlllly if you buy a new version of the game.

That way you get rewarded for purchasing the game and when you don't purchase the game (or buy a used copy or whatever) the game is just fine and there's no shitty DRM.

Which is the equivalent of sex.
