In fact, Zed is known to be scared of garlic (It's probably because of the smell, but I'm honestly not sure). Try eating some before you go to bed, and hanging it around your windows. Hopefully he'll stop bugging you soon. If not, you need to find his grave and either decapitate him or put a stake in his heart while he is sleeping. Just know that if you do, you're doing him a favour:)
