So every once in a while, my laptop's touchpad seems to go haywire, and the cursor will start jumping around and jerk to the right side of the screen. When I try to get it back to where I want it to, it's sometimes completely unresponsive, and won't move at all. This can last for up to 30 minutes per occurrence, and it happens frequently enough to be an inconvenience. Are there any things that might be causing this other than me just having a possibly defective touchpad?

Also why does the link in my signature display the top left corner instead of the bottom left corner?

Your signature appears to be just a sized-down youtube thingy with no other formatting. As far as I can see it simply displays on the left with no real space above or below. Unless you mean why it's showing one bit of the youtube thing rather than another bit, in which case: It's working fine for me.

On the touchpad, really really sweaty/greasy fingers might mess it up. No idea otherwise. I'll open this one up to the audience.

That is what I mean. And now I'm even more confused, because this makes me think that it may be something with my browser, and I have no idea what to do about it.

I have another issue. Earlier when I walked into the kitchen some small, white flecks appeared at the edge of my vision, and they disappeared if I tried to concentrate on them. They went away quickly, but it was pretty weird. What is this?
