not exactly. If the topic you wish to bring up has room for intimate discussion then make a thread for it. If the topic can easily be dismissed with a post or two, then put it in the chat thread

Users used to have the ability to post until the chat deletion incident so it was removed. Now only mods can delete posts.

When loading XChat, this pops up, and it won't let me into the chats. I downloaded whatever it is they said to, and it still didn't work. Help?

If you've followed all the IRC set-up instructions properly then that probably warrants its own help thread. I know nothing about IRC.

If it's a general how-to-use-IRC instructions thread, yes. If it's a questions thread you should just make your own.

Where can I find the history of stickpage?

We had a thread for that, which we put a huge amount of work into, and it got lost in the 2012 forum reset. No one had the energy to remake it. It might be time to try again though.

I feel like the chat thread would be a good place to start. If there were any major events, I bet they'd come up there.
