Urgh. These had some ****ed up differentiating camera styles. Keep a CONSISTENT quality. Some of them were incredibly bad while some were aight, but only due to the way you shot it. Always try to capture shadows and sunlight.

Only the 2's were my images. The other are from other cities that were in previous studies. I am comparing the results from the scores I get to theirs. I just didn't like having to scale down mine in order to get it to match their dimensions.

I actually really liked doing this. And as Niruthan said, it would be nice to see the results/conclusions when you're finished.

Done.

I like the one with the big winter tree in the background and the white lamp, and the two at the end were both pretty neat.

Thank you for your response. I read through yours and your comments were exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, mate.

There are some from Seattle, Westbury, Evanston, Andover and a city I need to recheck.

Ok here are my findings so far. I'm getting more people locally to take it so I can compare foreigners to locals on scoring.

If I wanted to I could do a percentage of people who half assed it and dropped out of the survey. You can tell how many people dropped by where there are no scores and most of the drop outs were *raises finger and points at* you guys. No hard feelings though.. I got a lot of data from you guys so thanks for helping. You can still take it if you haven't done it yet.

Yeah, right now I am designing how I am going to present the data..
I just have to make the design flexible so when I get more data I won't have to change a lot.

This is downtown Athens. I'm planning to use lines to connect the points where the photos were taken.
The red dots are actually going to be pie charts that will show the percent of people who preferred the scene vs the other city in the comparison.

Nowhere near done atm, but the I can let you know that the image is going to be huge.
For the presentation I have to print this out on 24X18 card stock or something like card stock.
What you see now are pie charts that represent the preferred image. Blue is image 1 from the city labeled and Red is the Athens image.
I have put in zones where the highest scores are (midde, white) and the lowest (corners, diagonal lines). Now I just need to compare the local scores to the out of state/international scores.

Well I finally finished for now. I just need to find a place that will print a 24X20 size image.

Nice work. Do you have to analyse this further? How does it work?

The point of this class I am is to allow the viewer to come to their own conclusions.
I did make a list of conclusions I want the viewer to come to:
-Locals generally favor other cities
-Locals generally score/rank other cities higher
-Locals generally score/rank athens images higher than out of state
-Out of state generally favor other cities
-Out of state generally score/rank athens images lower
-Out of state generally score/rank other cities lower than local
-Cities with a lot of vegetation generally score/rank higher than others that do not have as much vegetation
-Cities with a lot of walking space generally score/rank higher than others that do not has as much walking space
