Reality is nothing. There is only perception.

Quote from AutomatonI was thinking, why is our reality? I was deep in thought, incessant buzzig that was actually calming, my eyes closed. My eyelids were a canvas that reached out into nothingness. The sound that was playing became not a sound, it was all there was. If that sound ws so natural to me I didn't see it as anything, it just was, who is to say that sound was happening? Or that it even was? If that blank nothingness was all I had experienced and a temporary loss of memory no less, who is to say that wasnt all there was at that time? No worries, no pressure, no commitment, I wish that was me.
Welcome to the Matrix, Mr Anderson.

Age old questions like this exist. We ask them as children and then we forget them as we grow up.
If I close my eyes, does the rest of the world exist? What if all our memories are false, and we were just formed today with memories implanted in our heads, and everyone else is just going along with it? Movies like Dark City and Truman Show raise this question.
What if we're all just characters in some book about some guy?

Quote from MiniManI think. Therefore I am.
I am not aware that you are thinking, all I know is that I am thinking. I am only confident that I, myself, exist. Everybody around me could be a creation of my mind.
Maybe I am a creation for something to experience through.
To you, you don't know if I'm thinking. I can also be part of your mind for you to experience through.
You are all hallucinations. You don't exist.
It's a really old philosophical theory. You can expand on it by believing our mind has complete control of us. Our mind is the "omnipotent" being we all long to exist. It's taken a weaker form to experience things it otherwise can not. It hasn't made something as great as itself so it can feel inadequate, and eventually it can feel success.

Expanding on my original idea, I had some new thoughts. I know it might seem as if I'm talking nonsense, but trust me, I'm not. I'm on a higher level of knowledge than you if you think so. Anyway, I was thinking, all around us every day there are things we plainly don't understand, and we pass them off as normal and take them for granted. We "see" these miracles and think nothing of them. For instance, ****ing magnets, how do they work? I mean seriously, what if they didn't exist? Could it be possible they don't? In our other inner reality? There are no physics there, it is what you wish. You can make your own laws and live there if you wish.

Indeed, the traditional fictional notion of magic is obscure in that it treats it often as something special when it would in fact, if it existed, simply be considered another law of nature and therefore not unusual, and the same argument has been applied to religious miracles claiming that they can never happen because laws of physics are formed retrospectively to fit what has, in fact, occurred.

Just thought I'd share my currenny thoughs.
After reading this and your other posts several times, I have come to a conclusion.
You are God.

Your reality is whatever you want it to be, whatever you imagine it to be. However, it is in your best interests if the reality that you believe in matches the one you actually see- laws of physics, cause and effect, all that.
So bubbles, you can jump off a cliff and believe you are flying, until you hit the ground and get smashed into a pancake of course.

But that's what drugs are for, so you never actually hit the ground.
Naw, I'm just messin' with ya
