Maan. When's the last time you've done this? And why did you come back the same time I did?

The stops are pretty abrupt. The roll by the gray guy was well done, but he stands up, motionless, and goes the other way. Just one more frame would fix it all.

I don't know if the shakiness was supposed to be there or not, but either way it doesn't look good. A bit more easing would be good too. I love the idea!

the shakiness is kind of a style i'm trying to keep things dynamic as possible.. it's also reminiscent of my love for caffeine

i think it looks bad because i did the effect poorly at the start. i'll try to fix it up later

It is better. Still quite shaky, though. Just pay close attention to the distance from the onionskin in every frame. Ease in and out all the time.
I'm seeing some motions like this |-|--|----|-|-----|--|----|--|-| (not good)

I like the constant repositioning, but it should be movement like swaying instead of shaking. It looks like you cleared the frames and tried put everything back in place.

any specific examples? i'm not 100% where i should be looking for this problem

The grey guy's roll made me climax. The second set of kicks from the black guy were a work of art (except either cut the frame just before impact on the last one or double frame it). I can only really reiterate ASOT's criticism that there's not enough followthrough and easing out of the movements which can be disruptive.

what i like about animations like these is that they're straight up, no special effects or anything, maybe except for some cinematic stuff and some blood
but yeah the lack of fire, teleportation, and other flashy stuff, makes me appreciate your skill more

i never was a real fan of dragon ball z lol

imo stick figure fights should be as much as possible just that - stick figures fighting. unless you're making some story, i don't see the need to have a guy who can obliterate everyone with laser beams

tiny update:

fixed the grabbing arm, and the shakiness at the start... also made a better transition to the cinematic frame and made that part a bit longer i'm liking how this is turning out!

update 3.5

[edit]

made some pretty important changes to the kick, added some frames, and perfected the leg grab in every way i could see...
